In the Funny Papers Today!
After a couple of slow days in the papers, things are picking up, probably with the Inauguration, and how happy a few people are and how unhappy a lot of people are. So what is my top story?
Leinenkugel's is going to stop producting returnable bottles!!!!!
A time honored tradition from the brewery will come to a close by May. That's the bad news. The good news?! BLATZ is still available in returnable bottles, and at just over $10 a case I suggest with a major snow storm on the way, we pick one up and watch the Inauguration on TV!
Creativity in Action!
My faith in the human race is enhanced when I hear/see stories like this.
A farm in Vermont is converting methane gas from cow manure to generate electricity!
That's using the brain! Take something you have plenty of, and put it to good use!
Click Here for the full story.
Only problem is that it is a win for everyone, for the farm, the power plant and the consumer, and that it makes too much sense and no one else in the country will want to do it. But I at least applaud the thought and the effort!
That's all I have for right now, feel free to comment!
Have a great Inauguration Day, Free the CAT (thanks Saint Nate for your comment!)
Until next time,
PAC

Thanks for the link--it's comparatively small-scale, but what a great idea!
